Sahuarita, to the south of Tucson, depends on pecans, mining and livestock for its sustenance. Planned communities have cropped up in this southern area, each having its own shopping, schools, recreation and health care. Agua Azul at Rancho Sahuarita represents one of the newest series of homes located in the area and is next to the lake, which is part of another popular housing community called Rancho Sahuarita.
